Life is a precious thing full of adventure & the most beautiful moments. Why should disable children get the right to life but not disabled Birds? Disability is not incorrect function, it's a different way of being, doing things in a different way should not result in your death. Can you make the promise that you will, from now on, value the lives of disabled Birds. Will you?

 

Please don't blow out their bright light just because of a difference that can be worked around. Please help others to see that a life of different function is still a life of worth, no matter what body they are born in. Feathers instead of skin should not mean that life with a disability is put to an end instead of cherished for who they turn out to be. It should not mean that because they have feathers instead of skin that nobody will work with them, nobody will make adaptions or that their therepy is mocked & the support worker is labelled mad.

 

Make the promise that you will do everything in your power to find places these souls belong, that you won't allow them to be left laying alone in empty cages or be killed for being unique. Promise that you will encorage rescue centers & breeders to give special needs Birds a chance & encorage new families to do the same. Look into their eyes & see a soul, not a suffering burden who you think should be destroyed.
