Rescuing Birds has been my passion for the last 7 years & the rescue has been going now for 4 years. Special needs Birds have a special place in my heart & when I am working with them it feels like I am in heaven. It deeply saddens me that when I tell friends or family members about the beautiful special needs Bird I have just taken in, their responses tended to be "yuck"! or "Is it really fair to keep it alive"? When we knew that they were in fact happier than our flock members with full use of everything & how people could say yuck into the faces of such angels shocked me. Slowly over time I have been able to bring them around & show them that these Birds need acceptance, not their necks broken because nobody wants to take them on. It is now my aim to further that realization to end the killing of Birds just because they look or act differently.  We do NOT try to convince people to draw out the severe pain & suffering of Birds because with the right care they don't hurt or suffer, I wouldn't want you put down if you lost a finger or the use of your eyes.
